We have been developing with ASP.NET since the start of Microsoft's Beta program.
ASP.NET offers substantial advantages over older versions of the ASP platform such
as structured error handling , real object oriented design, generics, and integrated
authentication and user management. The ability to deploy .NET assemblies for both
desktop and web data access make it an ideal choice for database driven web applications.
We develop both web pages and web services using ASP.NET web services are particularly
exciting because they offer the ability to build distributed applications using
http and https, dramatically simplifying communications.
