First Functional Prototype

Then we build a first draft of the application. It will not be feature complete or stable, but will give users a chance to comment on it. Typically, customers come up with dozens of new features or change existing features once they start to use the prototype.

Beta Testing

We incorporate these changes and build a beta testing version. We bring real data over from existing systems or double enter data and ask users to perform real tasks. Users typically ask for changes here as well.
